Ideas and Innovation
Housed at our head office in Sheffield, Loadhog has a dedicated “ideas and innovation” centre, made up of 10 full time designers and engineers, an extensive engineering work shop, CAD and rapid prototyping facilities.
One of the primary aims common to all our projects is to help the customer achieve increased productivity and cost savings through intelligent design.
The I&I team spend much of their time in the field researching customer needs and requirements to ensure that everything we develop makes the way our customers operate easier, quicker and safer.
Many of our most successful and enjoyable projects have been conducted in close collaboration with our customers, allowing us to deliver innovative products that are specifically designed to provide them with a bespoke solution.
For every product there is a large collection of prototypes that help us rigorously test each idea during its development. Our fully equipped workshop allows us to build the majority of our early prototypes on-site, making for an exceptionally swift turn-around of ideas.
To enable us to streamline our work with our toolmakers and suppliers, we develop ideas in tandem with the physical experiments using sophisticated computer aided design software. We also use advanced FEA and structural analysis, which enables us to further optimise the performance of our products.
